Retirement. Not only did we want to simplify our life, we wanted to get back something we lost … a natural and creative connection to the earth, planting beautiful and useful plants, and sharing our gardens and lavender with you.
We researched land in the Saugatuck area we love. Used as a horse farm for the last 15 years before we purchased the property, the natural land was sandy, sunny, and ready to support lavender.
We are small, just one acre, but we packed the land with over 825 plants (seven varieties), and we'll have many more this summer.
But we are more than a lavender farm. Known for its calming effect, lavender inspired us to integrate peaceful gardens and fountains to enhance a sense of calm restfulness. We want to help you reduce stress, get away from the world for a while, and reconnect with nature.
You can enjoy the Japanese garden, the perennials and rock garden, the calming music of the fountain, the swath of birches and boulders that are integrated with our lavender experience. There are plenty of places to walk to sit and to connect with nature in a peaceful and lavender scented environment.
